Who are we:
VoteIndia.in is not a sudden idea, it is a process that has developed gradually
in the minds of ordinary citizens who are baffled by the problems our country
is facing today, such as unemployment, illiteracy, social injustice, health
care, corruption, caste war and so on, the list is endless. We are ordinary
Indian citizens who feel dismayed by the politics our country is currently
witnessing.
The question is: Is it that we don't know the right candidate, or is it
just a lack of interest in politics?
We believe that India deserves to be in hands of people who are capable
of leading it. Good governance starts from voting for the right people.
If we take up this responsibility towards government, the government is
bound to take up its responsibility towards us.
Hence, we have come up with this initiative where we want to inculcate the
importance of politics and the importance of voting, within the masses.
It will be only when we start understanding that we will get good leaders,
and can hope to see a better future for our nation.
About the project:
The project is non-profitable, non-charitable, non-governmental and politically
neutral effort initiated by a group of young citizens who wish to bring
a change.
The aims of the project are as below:
1) Increasing the Voting percentage by encouraging and assisting users.
2) Encourage people to consider "Good Governance" as a criteria
for choosing their candidate.
3) Educate Voter about their rights and the importance of voting.
